Meet our Pastor

Dr. Emanuel Foster
Dr. Emanuel L Foster is a native of Bessemer, Alabama. He attended a local public school and a graduated of Jess Lanier High School. He went on to pursue his education at Jacksonville State where he received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and several years later graduated from Southeastern Bible College where his major was in Bible Studies. Also, in 2010, he graduated from New Orleans Theological Seminary.
Pastor Foster is currently a counselor at Pinson Valley High School in Birmingham, AL.
Pastor Foster is a member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church in Bessemer, AL. He received his formal training Under Pastor Patterson's tutelage and at the age of seventeen received his call into ministry. Pastor Foster severed in varies capacities at Beulah, Sunday school teacher, Usher, a member of the Christian Crusade he also sang in the choir.
Pastor Foster’s gifts of anointed teaching and preaching have opened many doors for him to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. He counts it a privilege and a blessing to be used of God for His purpose and His glory.
Following years of preparation, God called Pastor Foster as pastor of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bessemer, AL at the age of twenty-one, where he has given nineteen years of faithful service. Pastor Foster has a hunger and thirst for God and His people. He is an advocate for education, secular and spiritual. Pastor Foster lives by the vision that God has given him to the Church, to reach the lost by teaching the cross and maturing those in the Christian faith.
